High
School:
The Early
Years
I almost don’t feel like freshman year counts as the beginning of high school—it was more of a “testing of the water”. You see, freshman year wasn’t stressful in the least, even though I was heavily involved in football and debate. It seemed as if everything was simply happening, and I was along for the ride. Sophomore year changed that up a bit with the addition of my first AP class, AP World History. When you combine late night football games that keep you out until eleven at night with writing debate cases, taking WHAP notes, and throw in four other classes for good measure, the result is very stressful. However, I wasn’t that busy every day, and sophomore year, I experienced one of the biggest changes in my high school career; I moved!
