Let’s buckle up for a ride on the blissful insanity running around in the

brain of brian burx!

“I've drawn and doodled my entire life but never did anything seriously until around the time my daughter was born. My hobby used to be sitting up late at night and making pretty unlikeable music on my couch but I need to be quiet so I found a quieter hobby which was painting. Eventually someone offered me money for something I had done and I realized it was something I could do more of.”

“Very first thing I sold made me realize that this might be more than just a fun hobby and also made me wonder why I hadn't been doing this all along. I would tell new artist to just work every single day and figure out how to be productive as well as find something that everyone likes but also maintaining doing things that just you like”

“Some of my favorite artists are Frank Frazetta, Jim Lee, Mark Texiera, Sam Kieth but my real favorites are people in my Punk Rock Art group on Facebook who post regularly. There are tons of artists from very amateur to professional who I admire a lot in that group.”
