The Patch
The Patch looks a bit like a nicotine patch. It sticks onto the skin
and releases oestrogen and
progesterone through the skin
surface so it is absorbed into the
blood stream. It prevents ovulation
and pregnancy. The patch was
approved in 2003, so it is a
