While eradicating contraband is a constant battle , the highly skilled and trained professionals of the Office of Professional Standards , Criminal Investigations Division work diligently , day in and day out , to combat contraband and the effects it has on the staff and offenders . The unit optimizes information , technology , and state-of-the-art equipment and integrates it into the department ’ s systems and processes in an attempt to locate and eradicate contraband inside and outside the walls of our facilities . The Special Agents and Canine teams are unwavering in their assistance in our never-ending fight against contraband .
