CONTEMPORARY STEPS BACKWARDS by FOOD MATTERS Author: James Colquhoun If we look at what happened on Tikopia, we actually see a similar problem today [in the USA]. We are chopping down huge portions of the Amazon rainforest to grow corn, wheat, and soy, and then we are shipping that to factory farms, in North America in particular, where we are feeding it to these animals. And these factory farm environments are horrible for the animals. They are far from their natural environment and they are getting sick because they are being fed foods they were not meant to eat in the first place.This leads to them being injected with hormones and antibiotics to try and keep them alive [in such horrible and immoral] until they go toslaughter. Here are 3 major reasons why we should boycott factory farming in the modern era:
