“ I don’ t have enough words to express the loss I feel but I want to share some information about Stuart Ing that his friends and family might not know. Stu and 3000 other lawyers belong to a National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Many of us across the country participate in an internet email listserve where we ask other lawyers questions about legal issues. Stuart was a gifted lawyer and a true scholar of bankruptcy law. He freely gave endless hours of his time answering questions and helping other lawyers with their problem cases. His answers were well reasoned and reliable. Based on his wide experience he often provided the common sense solution that so often evaded us and our complex discussions. He helped me and countless others, many of whom only knew Stu through bankruptcy conventions and the internet. We were not as close to him as you, his family and friends, are, but he was widely respected as a mentor and a friend by us all, and most importantly we saw his strength as an advocate for his clients- people who were unable to fight for themselves. His legacy is proud and strong among his peers and we hope that provides some solace to you in your loss. Stu will be sorely missed.”
