WOODEND FARM FLATS & HOUSES

A £ 27 million Woodend Farm project , led by Falkirk Council in partnership with CCG ( Scotland ) and Arc-Tech MU , is transforming a former agricultural site in Hallglen , Falkirk .
Located at the boundary of Callendar Park , the development includes 99 new-build homes featuring one , two , three , and four-bedroom two-storey houses , alongside 12 flats integrated into the restored Woodend Farmhouse and Steading . The project combines new builds with the restoration of the historic farmhouse and steading and is set for phased completion in 2025 .
The masterplan prioritises green spaces , providing amenities for residents and the wider community while ensuring all properties meet Housing for Varying Needs standards . These standards underline adaptability , space efficiency , and energy performance .
The homes will be delivered in four phases , with all properties designed to support sustainability and future adaptability . The project is expected to reduce housing shortages in Falkirk while preserving and enhancing local heritage .
CCG ( Scotland ), the project ’ s main contractor , has committed to maintaining high construction standards and energy-efficient housing solutions . Falkirk Council has highlighted the restoration of the farmhouse and steading , ensuring they serve as enduring landmarks within the development .
Arc-Tech MU have also been instrumental in the project ’ s progress , providing a comprehensive design , supply , and installation package for gas , water , and electrical services .
Key utility works include the Installation of over 1,150 meters of gas pipework , individual services to each home , and coordination of a gas main diversion .
