IN HARMONY WITH THE LAW OF GESTATION

My introduction to the principles of The Law of Attraction began in the year of2005

That introduction into spirituality was

all very strange and enlightening at the same time because this truth was totally opposite from what I had accepted as my reality for almost eight decades.

However, I heartily embraced the law of Attraction concept starting with the teachings of

Abraham and Dr. Wayne Dyer.

The basic principle of these teachings is that our thoughts do become things.

Through the power of visualization and imagination, as well as positive expectations

through faith, we can create and attract whatever we desire in our lives. This is made possible by the shift in our energy.

Dr. Tatiana H. Irvin, in her book entitled, The Reluctant Intuitive, explains how this shift of energy works when we have the conviction that whatever we ask for in faith is given to us.

Paraphrase:“ To better understand the shift in energy that we create when we hold a still, firm, yet peaceful conviction that all is well, we manifest that literal biochemical state in our bodies … that perfectly complies with the universal law of attraction.

Many ascended Masters and modern quantum scientists are both stating that like attracts like---energy resonating creates more resonance. We must become the matching energy to the desired intention. It’ s the true alignment and must be understood and implemented daily to be mastered.” End of paraphrased quote.

We, then, can readily see how our energy created by faith

in the universal law of attraction matches our expectations.

Faith is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmations or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of autosuggestion.

Dr. Tatiana further states,“ We ask ourselves,“ Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, or fabulous? Actually, who are we NOT to be? We are a child of God born to make manifest the glory of God within us.”

Why is it then, that many people who embrace this truth of the universal law of attraction still remain in their undesirable state after years of trying to apply its principles?

While it is sometimes because of our subconscious belief that we do not deserve what we are trying to manifest, there is another Law in effect.

That is the Law of Gestation. This law allows us to learn our lessons and come to a spiritual place, a level of consciousness, where we can be successful when we do achieve our goals.

The Law of Gestation is a gift to allow us time to prepare ourselves to receive our wants.

A good example of this is when people win millions in the lottery only to be broke in a few

months or years. They were not in a mental, emotional, psychological or spiritual place to be successful so they were not comfortable with having wealth. They still subconsciously carried the identity of themselves as unworthy of financial prosperity.

This also happens when people want a mate or partner in their lives so desperately that they try to make it happen by various means and it becomes an obsession with them. Then if and when they do hook up with someone, the relationship ends in disaster because they have not learned the lessons they needed to learn about themselves in order to be successful in a relationship.

I know a man who had been married and divorce four times who said,“ I married the same woman four times.” Subconsciously, he chose the same person because that’ s all he thought he deserved.

It is difficult to recognize and wait for the Law of Gestation when we want something so badly. However, it is comforting to know that a safeguard is in place for us that makes us wait until we are ready to successfully receive our desires.

Sometimes, the Law of Gestation is in effect because something better is waiting for us in the future that would be hampered or hindered by

us receiving our present desires or needs.

This could be true in the case of desiring a property in which ownership would later be a detriment to receiving the greater blessing awaiting us in our future. For instance, if we bought a property and later needed to sell it in order to move into our greater blessing, but couldn’ t sell what we now owned, but needed to in order to move on.

No matter how much we employed the law of attraction to own the property of our dream it never happened for us. Then later we had a much greater blessing presented to us, we would realize that we were tremendously blessed by NOT being able to attain the property we once so desired and tried so hard to manifest through the law of attraction. I have experienced this also.

How did I come to recognize that the Law of Attraction is in harmony with the Law of Gestation? In early 2009, I attended a seminar where the speaker emphasized that we do not need money to buy a house or whatever else we need or want.

Although I was not in a financial position to do so, I decided right then and there that I was moving to a bigger and better place, so I set that as my new goal and put

the steps in motion.

Before I left the seminar I picked up an empty cardboard box and announced loudly and enthusiastically that I was moving. I collected boxes, packed and contacted movers for quotes and spent much time and effort looking for my new place.

Every time I talked to someone I said in a very excited and animated way,“ I’ m moving.” Their first question was,“ where”, to which I replied, very enthusiastically,“ I don’ t know, but I do know that a place will be provided for me.”
