The Love Frequency
Are you looking for love? Many believe you can find it in music. I know I do. I fall in love whenever I hear well-crafted lyrics, waist moving bass, or whenever I hear the dulcet sounds of a crooner belting out a love song. But that’s not what those who study the effects of energy and vibrations on the universe mean.
They are referring to the 528 hertz music frequency which some researchers believe is the frequency of love. They say that at the core of love are frequency and consciousness. To be more accurate, love is the state of perfect vibrational harmonization or the co-resonance of consciousness between all things. 528 hertz is one of the Solfeggio frequencies.
“Solfeggio frequencies” is a term coined by Leonard Horowitz, DMD and Joseph Puleo in 1999. It is a system of musical tuning for pitched instruments, referring to a belief that a set of nine frequencies derived from numerology were used centuries ago in Gregorian and Sanskrit chants. These frequencies are believed to create positive shifts to those in proximity to them. (1)
It is claimed that each frequency has specific spiritual and physical healing properties. It is also claimed that they are part of a process that can assist you in creating the possibility of life without stress, illness, and sickness. The frequency assigned to Mi (for "Miracles"), 528 Hz, is said by proponents of the idea to be the exact frequency used by genetic engineers throughout the world to repair DNA. (2)
This idea that audible frequencies can have a physical effect on the body is not necessarily a new one. Binaural beats or binaural tones are auditory processing artifacts, or apparent sounds, the perception of which arises in the brain for specific physical stimuli. This effect was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, and earned greater public awareness in the late 20th century based on claims that binaural beats could help induce relaxation, meditation, creativity and other desirable mental states. This is known as brain entrainment.
The love frequency, 528 hertz, can in essence put you in a loving state both emitting and attracting love. This is a more simplistic explanation of the frequency, which is also known as the DNA repair frequency, and there is certainly some debate on the subject. But if you consider the effect your favorite music has on you, the idea is not hard to accept. So, if you’re looking for love, it’s just a song away.
