Christy is our store manager
at our Edna location. She
has worked for United Ag
since February 2013. Born
and raised in Los Angeles,
California, Christy came
to Texas in 1982. She
graduated from TSTC in 1992
with a degree in dietary
management. She has worked
in agriculture for several
cooperatives. She said, “I love
working with the people
and families involved in
agriculture. They are a special
group of people.”

Ian is the delivery driver at
our Eagle Lake location. He
has been with us for seven
years and is from Eagle
Lake. He said, “I enjoy the
daily interaction with my
co-workers and helping our
customers and other people
in the community.”

Colleen is our inventory specialist and has been with us for 11 years.
With a B.S. in entomology from Texas A&M, Colleen worked as an
independent crop consultant in Bee and Wharton counties before
coming to United Ag. She said her favorite part of her job is, “Crunching
the numbers, figuring out what is selling well, what is not, what
happened to items, etc. And, of course, the buying! Love finding
bargains for the store!”

Jimmy is our crop production manager and new project coordinator.
He is from Wharton and is a graduate of Texas A&M. He has been in the
ag industry for more than 30 years, and with United Ag for seven. His
industry contacts provide him with insight and knowledge of products
and practices that can be beneficial to producers. He said, “What I like
most about working for this cooperative is the ability to truly partner
with our producers. I am responsible to our owners (producers) and their
profitability. It’s not about the products, it’s about the value that we bring
to our producers.”
Michelle has been our corporate marketing manager and feed sales
specialist for four years. From Bay City, Texas, Michelle graduated from
Texas A&M University in 2009 with a degree in agribusiness. She has
been in the industry since high school, working for a vet clinic and
Purina. She said, “I love being in agriculture and helping customers that
share my passion for farming and ranching.”
