“It was like going from
a sad climate to a big
party. No one minded
getting wet.”

United Ag General Manager
“The Edna store will increase our footprint in the upper
Gulf Coast area,” Roppolo said. “We hope to serve more
producers and patrons that are going elsewhere to do their
supply shopping. This expansion also allows us to get bigger
volume discounts from our suppliers, which we can pass on
to our patrons in cheaper supply costs.”
The grand opening included one welcome surprise that
wasn’t planned — rain. The moisture had a definite effect on
mood, according to Roppolo.
In addition to educational sessions, CEU credits were available at the grand
opening. Drift control, laws and regulations and brood cow management
“It was like going from a sad climate to a big party. We had were covered, with each topic being worth one CEU credit. The instructors
missed so many chances for rain and were desperately need- were Greg Baker, James Davis, Mike Hiller and Dr. Chance Farmer. Thirty-one
ing moisture,” said Roppolo. “No one minded getting wet.”
