As a nutrition consultant , I believe there are objective ways of evaluating liquid supplements . Every time we make a decision about our business , we should make a “ business ” decision . In other words , don ’ t shoot from the hip on any decision , but especially ones as impactful to your bottom-line as nutritional supplementation of forages . By the way , the price per ton is the starting point , not the ending point , of a business decision regarding supplementation of cattle .
