Lacey was born and raised on her family’s dairy farm in Chino, California. While in high school, she
and her parents moved the family and dairy to the Texas Panhandle. She attended West Texas
A&M University and graduated with a degree in animal science in 2008. After college, she moved to
Texas A&M University, College Station, where she did research in the biomedical department. She
comes to us after four years at DeWitt County Producers Cooperative in Cuero, where she served as
assistant manager. Lacey is now the manager of our store in Edna.
Sammy enjoys country living in the small community of Pearl City, west of Yoakum, with his wife,
Susan, two horses, two cats and two dogs. Sammy and Susan have two sons, Peanut and Trey,
a daughter-in-law, McKey, and two grandsons, Stratton and Sutton. Trey is a freshman agricultural
science major at Texas A&M University, which is something Sammy is adjusting to s
