Meeting attendees will remember the
sweet gentleman who greeted at the
road entrance every Sabbath with a
wonderful smile and a “Happy Sab-
bath” until Camp Meeting 2010. I
always anticipated seeing him at the
entrance of the camp grounds and re-
ceiving his Sabbath greeting knowing
that it was given with honest kindness
and love. I wondered how he could
stand out there, dressed for Sabbath in
a suit, shirt, tie and his signature white,
wide brimmed safari hat, in the Tennessee heat all day while keeping a won-
derful attitude.
That gentleman was Luther May along with his wife, Eunice. He was
a long-time pastor who served in Iowa, Tennessee,
