07/01/17 Houston, TX Level 2 Hazmat operation—
Made this Haz-mat that ended up not being anything.
According to news reports and FF on scene; a San Antonio
Water & Sewage (SAWS) satellite treatment facility had a
water leak that was in the chlorine room and, as a
precaution called SAFD. Both has-mat teams and a full 1
alarm assignment was called to evacuate the neighborhood
and inspect the room.
Ultimately everything was working fire minus the water
leak which was fixed and attended to by the SAWS
department.
