This summer, I want to
reread “Tipping Point”
by Malcolm Gladwell.
I’m looking forward to
reading it because it
talks about how just ONE
thing can totally turn a
situation around. I find
that inspiring. Reading
opens my eyes to things I
didn’t see before.

It is important for
students to read in the
summer to prevent the
summer slide. Students
should read at least 20
minutes each day to keep
their minds active and
learning. I like to read
because reading takes
you to different places.

I want to read more
“Captain Underpants”
books. I read mostly
books about history
so I want to read a silly
book. The books are
fun to read. They make
me laugh, and I like the
pictures.

It is important to
continue reading
throughout the summer
because your brain is a
muscle and should be
exercised daily. Reading
keeps your brain healthy. “The Good Son,” by You-
Jeong Jeong, is at the top
of my #SummerReading
list. It’s rare to find
authors of Asian descent
who write psychological
thrillers. I’m looking
forward to its June
release date.
