The all-new Garland ISD Littles Club launches this month, helping parents become their children’s first teacher. Membership includes: • Weekly emails with developmental tips and tricks • Access to an online library with thousands of books • Dedicated GISD support • Tours of GISD Pre-K and elementary schools • Special invites to age-appropriate events All families with children not enrolled in school (birth to five years old) are invited to sign up. District alerts, information a tap away via new app Garland ISD families, staff and community members now have district information at their fingertips. #GarlandUSA is proud to announce the launch of its new mobile app, which conveniently houses news, events, student information systems and more. Designed to offer a beneficial and accommodating experience, users have the power to customize their app. After selecting a campus, participants will be able to see both school and district alerts, updates and happenings. Families can select as many campuses as needed, and information is tagged with a campus or district logo. With the touch of a finger, users can access Skyward to check grades, log in to Ready Hub to find digital resources, use Anonymous Alerts to report an incident or utilize PayPams to pay for school meals. Other features include school listings, contact information and official district social media accounts. Important notifications will also be shared through this new platform.
