Lakeview Centennial High
School has made history by winning
the first-ever Universal Cheerleaders
Association Game Day Live
Championship. This new competition
combines cheerleaders with live
music from the school’s band.

Continuing a longstanding
Garland ISD tradition, Daphne Gomez,
Skyler Huynh, Jessica Nwaka,
Marlene Reyes, Michael Robles and
William Utrera were named 2020 Dell
Scholars. These college-bound seniors will
each receive $20,000, a laptop and
ongoing educational support.
