learning we
were pregnant,

Doctors weren’t giving us much hope and suggested
we consider terminating the pregnancy. In our minds,
that was not an option. Not knowing what to do next
or who to call, we contacted ConnectCare3. One of

assigned to us. She suggested we visit a national
children’s hospital for high-risk pregnancies. She
facilitated the initial appointment and accompanied us
