Further, we have also mounted 20 hoardings at
prominent locations of Ahmedabad. With this
initiative we have collected a lot of materials, which
can be used for donations to under privileged and
the society. The material includes Clothes, Toys,
Gift Articles, Furniture, Utensils, Games, etc. In the
month of November 2018, our team has decided to
distribute all such merchandise to the needy part of
the Society.
We were fortunate enough to meet Chief Minister
Shree Vijaybhai Rupani, who understood the entire
concept and gave a video bite where he has
appealed to all Amdavadi's to support this event.
The event has got huge publicity across the city, we
were able to get space inside the Airport for the first
time and have sponsored news paper copies at
airport everyday for 10days.The USP of the event is
there is no money involved which helps you get the
attention of people without any doubt in mind. We
were able to get top 5 corporates of Ahmedabad
supporting #AmdavadGives. It got support of all
leading clubs of Ahmedabad where in they had sent
personalised sms & email to all club members. We
were able to send to send flyers about Round Table
India & AmdavadGives to 6000 students of two major
schools of Ahmedabad. We had tied up with BNI
where in we had personally visited 26 chapters in 4
days time everyday morning 6.45am to 8am , 1600+
BNI members now know Round Table India & its
activities.
The best thing about the entire activity is it connects
to each Amdavadi, No sponsorship added huge value
to entire concept. We were able to do this with the
help of Uber, who gave us tremendous support in
getting 479 pick ups done in 1 single day. We had a
publicity drive just one day before the event and we
were 100 tablers/circlers standing holding the RTI
banner & #AmdavadGives boards which was well
covered by media in news & newspaper.
Success of the entire event is result of hard work by
Tablers & Circlers who have invested their time,
sources and energy to achieve what was required. We
have a distribution process in place which we will
initiate during Diwali -“Iss Diwali Kare Roshan"
