The bonds of brotherhood grow stronger when the support system also coexists.. And that is what the Kochi Karnival did - Bring families together for a fun filled day and emerse in a never seen before experience. The century old provincial Cochin club saw kids and mothers, sisters and brothers, circlers and tablers, prospects and 41ers, all swarm in to meet, greet and treat themselves to an charming ensemble. Be it the childish pillow fight or the ambitious mad bull, the macho hammer machine or the silly duck a boo; every one found his space and savoured every moment. Children enjoyed wine making, while the adults preferred wine tasting. The trek took the form of a treasure hunt, which saw tablers & families walking across Fort Cochin to hunt for clues & answers to eloquently worded riddles. Complacency caught the host tables off guard and a visiting table laid claim to the coveted treasure. The DJ party in the night saw the festivities groove to a different level. The pleasure of indulgence is always great when one has toiled for it. This couldn't be more apt for the NFD as all the tables had worked real hard for the RTI week. The national level guidance on the parameters for delivering the activities made is easier for the tables to focus their energies on execution rather than on selection. Go green, limb donation, remember the forgotten ones were all brilliant thoughts which went well beyond what Round table generally does. 1 a e r A This was well presented by all the table chairmen in the Area Executive meeting which had full attendance on Sunday morning. What a way to celebrate life. Give with open arms and live with an open mind. Cheers to tabling.. Live life. We are one. AC Tr. Zaheer E Najeeb AST Tr. Vikas Agarwal
