Meeting.
The First Edition of the Excellent 92 Page VIBGYOR Area Magazine which has a
Compilation of all the Area and Table Events from July to Novmber was released
by the Area Editor in the Presence of the Area Chairman and the First copy was
Presented to the National President.
The joint meeting of SRT 28, SCRT 84, SMART 175, was attended in good
Strength. All Tables of Salem presented the highlights of events of the current
year. Tr.Harsha was inducted into the Fold of SMART 175 by the National
President.
A CSR MoU Project between Round Table India , Ramani Volkswagen, Ramani
Nissan initiated by SCRT 84 was signed today by National President Tr. Dhruv
Dalmia. Tablers and Tabler references will get 10000₹ voucher apart from the
regular discounts they offer. A small contribution of that sale will also go to RTI
Trust for FTE Project. Total of 23 outlets which is maximum number signed so
far.
Salem 28's noble project today where they distributed 100 mobile phones to
visually impaired people. The phones are designed specially for these people.
President distributed the phones and it was heart warming to hear when they said
we were God sent children to help them
SCRT 84 has tied up with TMS hospitals and has done more than 30000 eye
screening for FTE kids this Year. Our National President met with the Founder of
the Hospital Sq.Leg Siddharthan who has been of immense support to the
Organization.
This was followed by meetings at Conoor & Ooty. National Presidents visited the
Long Term Project of Ooty RT55 - The odaikadu Government school where 6
Classrooms, 1 Computer Lab, 2 Toilet Blocks have been renovated over the years.
The school has also introduced extra curricular activities like Music and Karate
which the President Witnessed.

A small Fishing picnic Lunch was organized by RT55 over Fellowship at
sandynella Lake in the Middle of the forest which is a one hour drive from Ooty. A
Jeep ride to Marmalade Springs followed, where we witnessed the Business meet of
WRT 277. Computer lab at Government higher sec school, Achoor, Toilet block
and building roof at Vythri Government higher secondary school, Toilet block at Rc
lower primary school, chundale, Toilet block at St. Joseph girls higher secondary
school, Mepadi, Transformer donated to Jyothi Palliative care at Mepaddi were
completed.

The National President was received in Calicut at the Gayatri Vidya Niketan
School , Peruvayal amongst fanfare and Grand celebrations for the Inauguration of
the School Playground. The school is a long term project of CRT 69 and it has been
associated , since 1999, a 20 Year association where 7 Classrooms have been built
so far.
The Grand Finale of the National Presidents Visit ended with a Joint Social and
Business Meeting of the RED CLAN comprising of ORT55, CRT 69 , GCRT 143,
CRT 165 & WRT 277 at Malabar Palace. The event was jointly organized by CRT
69 and GCRT 143 with Live Music and a Sumptuous Dinner. Tr.Michael Francis
was awarded the President Star in recognition for his efforts to identify and execute
projects related to the Flood Relief.
With an action packed Q3, Q4 is going to be another amazing quarter full of energy.
Salem RT 28 & Salem LC28 inaugurated six toilet blocks which was in bad shape
at government boys higher secondary School Kannankurichi
Salem RT 28 Salem LC 28 also Inaugurated toilet blocks in the Girls higher
secondary School at Govt Girls Higher Secondary school, Jari Kodalampatty. This
project was very deserving as the girl students were previously using toilets in
poor conditions
