I know many of you are sitting at home going stir crazy.
What I wanted to do was bring the music to you through past
music festivals. Many, many more can be found online to
suit your style of music. I know personally, if I did not have
music during this time, I would be going insane like many
people already are.
So at CONNECT Magazine, we wanted to help provide you
with an escape from the reality of this COVID Crisis we are
currently experiencing. Here are some Festivals from past
years that we know you are missing this year.
Coachella 2019
One of the biggest music festivals in the country that originally started with Pearl
Jam in 1993, plays to a wide range of genres at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California
. From pop to rock, indie rock, electric and even hip hop music. Coachella
however is not just about the music, it is about fashion and art as well, with massive
sculptures and art pieces throughout the grounds where the event takes place.
The Los Angeles Times Writer and Digital Editor Tara Paniogue Said it best “
People from around the globe come to Coachella for the music and stay for the
fun — but delight in the fashion.”
Lollapalooza 2019
A massive music festival held at Grant park in Chicago Illinois, it is home to
alternative rock, heavy metal, hip hop, grunge, rap and many other genres of
music. This music festival has been super popular since its start in 1991 that it
has sparked a world wide love from America to Brazil and many other countries
around the world
