Today
Speaking of today, Hip Hop is still as big and as evolving as it was
back in 1973. This leads me to believe that part of the culture revolves
around change whether it be from new sounds and rap styles
like Trap, to new cultural ideologies. Even to those that don’t care
for the genre, one can appreciate the history and willingness to always
bring us something new to listen, to dance, and to relate to.
The biggest selling rap song title holder is Wiz Khalifa featuring
Charlie Puth, with “See You Again” at a total of 20.9 million Units
Sold. The biggest selling rap artist is Eminem with 220 million records
sold and who holds the title to best female rap album you ask?
That goes to Nicki Minaj debut album ‘Pink Friday’.
Well, that is a “rap” readers! Thank you for joining us as we explored
the ages of hip hop. Want to hear a taste of what Hip Hop
