New Store Openings in New Zealand
Kirsty and Lewis Bavister – PACK &
SEND Pakuranga
After much discussion of running a business
together, in November of 2012, Kirsty and Lewis
Bavister took the leap and opened a PACK & SEND
store in Pakuranga ... and, three months later, they
were married.
While both Lewis and Kirsty have degrees in
Business, they balance each other out well: Kirsty’s
employment background being in administration,
marketing and purchasing, while Lewis’s is in
freight forwarding, specialising in dangerous goods
management.

Jo and Bill Lawrence – PACK & SEND
Nelson City
Bill and Jo Lawrence joined PACK & SEND with
strong backgrounds in the banking industry.
Bill’s entrance followed a 28 year career focusing
on customers, service and product as a Senior
Corporate Relationship manager, while Jo’s included
18 years in the retail arm and a further eight years in
the CEO’s office of one of the major NZ banks.
Having worked hard over the years in the corporate
sector, Bill and Jo decided they wanted to build
a business with customer service as one of its
cornerstones and to ‘do something exciting’. “Some
of our ‘corporate’ friends thought we were mad
walking away from successful careers, however,
they’ve all since said how envious they are of the
change we’ve made – wait until we really get going!”

Roger Tuarau - PACK & SEND Thorndon Quay
Beginning his work-life as an apprentice Turner/Welder, Roger Tuarau graduated to business ownership, first of a
document destruction and record management company, and then of a fish and chip shop.
As the demands of a growing family increased, Roger moved into franchising, eventually taking on a Mr Rental business
which he owned for 10 years. After selling his Mr Rental business, and loving the No Limits culture of PACK & SEND,
Roger became the owner/operator of PACK & SEND Thorndon Quay.
