PACK & SEND AT THE SYDNEY FRANCHISING EXPO PACK & SEND ENJOYED A GREAT RESPONSE AT THE FRANCHISING & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES EXPO, HELD IN SYDNEY ON JUNE 15 – 17. The Sydney Expo brought in over 3000 visitors of which PACK & SEND attracted enormous attention with its eyecatching stand supported by informative video displays. PACK & SEND’s franchise recruitment company, Amplify, was gratified with the large number of prospects that visited the stand over the three-day period. Co-founder and director of Amplify, Martin Lo Surdo, reported that well over 100 interested applicants registered to find out more about the brand. PACK & SEND received further exposure in August when the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo was held in Melbourne. “We spoke with hundreds of people face-to-face,” said Martin. “It was great to communicate the opportunity that’s available to franchisees via our unique omni-channel marketing - store, phone and online. The method of how we engage with our customers was evident to potential franchisees.” Further interest was generated, with PACK & SEND Pyrmont and Hornsby franchisees speaking to the audience about becoming a franchisee. “We are still assessing applicants through our Franchise Selection process, which has already resulted in the sale of one existing business in Sydney,” said Martin. PACK & SEND CONNECTS TO SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING PACK & SEND HAS CONNECTED WITH SOCIAL MEDIA, LAUNCHING ITS FACEBOOK AND TWITTER ACCOUNTS EARLIER THIS MONTH. Nicholas Woodward, PACK & SEND’s operations and innovation manager, said the time had come for PACK & SEND to make the most of today’s social media platform and build engaging and content-rich social media channels that appeal to both B2C and B2B audiences. “Today, Facebook and Twitter are ideal ways of driving traffic to digital channels and presenting customer-service excellence in real time,” Nicholas said. “As well as showcasing much of the impressive customer service we provide on a regular basis, the type of business we’re in provides us with a plethora of weird and wonderful content that consumers love to see and engage with, drawing an increasingly wider audience.” PACK & SEND will have a dedicated social media team that will monitor discussions and interact with prospective customers. They will also share information about the organization’s activities and make regular announcements and postings in order to engage followers and educate them on the brand. 17
