We have already begun planning for Issue 3, and you can expect a section dedicated to you—our readers! Your Connect CEO, Mihella What’s Happening to the Roleplay Community on IMVU?: An Insider Look For this interview I decided to speak with a person that I’ve known to roleplay for a long time, FeundrisReyes! He gives his opinions about roleplaying in the IMVU community and how it’s changed over time. 1. What kind of Roleplay interests you the most? A: Fantasy, Medieval type mainly. 2. What do you do to get into character before roleplaying? A: I try to focus on who the character is and how they would approach every situation that I am faced with. 3. How long have you been roleplaying on IMVU? A: I stopped roleplaying a few years ago, about the time I met my wife Laeliah, but prior to that I had been roleplaying on IMVU for about 6 years. 4. What do you think has changed between when you first starting role playing compared to roleplay on IMVU today? A: Roleplayers became less serious about it. There used to be a lot of them that made it fun, nowadays it's more about being in your own place with people, no real wars.. no kingdoms attacking one another.. You get the idea lol. 5. Do you roleplay in real life? (Acting classes, theatre, etc.) A: I play D&D from time to time, so I suppose I do. 6. Roleplay seems to have decreased in popularity in recent years. What are your thoughts about the direction RP is taking on IMVU? A: Honestly watching it decline has made me sad but all good things come to an end eventually. And there you have it! What are your thoughts about Roleplay on IMVU throughout the years or even today? CONNECT with us! Written by: lAzlianal 5
