school at the earliest. They also distributed sweaters and sweets on the
day of Bhumipoojan thereby impacting lives of 150 people with an
outlay of INR 40,000
Calcutta Round Table 4 Inaugurated 4 Classroom and a Toilet Block at
Makhla Prasad Singh Siksha Niketan, Uttarpara, Howrah on the 11 th
January’19 in the presence of Area Chairman Tr Manish Lakhotia, Area
Vice Chairman Tr Jeet Agarwal, AST Tr Amit Agarwal, APC Tr Tushar
Agarwal along with tablers of CRT4. The total constructed area of
classroom is approx 2200 sq feet which will enable the school to open
admission for Std XI & XII thereby benefitting approx 300 students
every year.
CCRT 38 inducted prospect Gaurav Bajaj into their table on the 9 th
January’19 in the presence of AST Tr Amit Agarwal during their table
meeting held at The Dalhousie Club. Tr Gaurav Bajaj had been prospect
for almost 3 months and was introduced to CCRT38 by his younger
brother Tr Saurav Bajaj, KERT315
KVRT 227 organised an LAPD session with Mr Krishna Kumar Karwa,
CEO & MD Emkay Global Ltd. Mr. Karwa directs the wealth
management services business, which is aimed at providing portfolio
advisory and risk management. He was invited to share his experience
about the equity market investments and the mistake that he had made
in 2012 where one of the employees of his company made a mistake by
wrongly placing wrong orders which led to the crash of the stock
market.
The error known as the “Fat Finger Mistake” made headlines in the
country because of manual typing error made while placing the order to
sell in Nifty. Mr. Krishna Kumar Karwa lived to tell his tale shared his
moments of turmoil and chaos that gripped his life when everything
was going smooth. He explained about the steps that he and his core
team of employees took in those moments to stay calm and manage the
situation. Overall it was an interactive session which was followed by
dinner.
A Free Eye Check Up camp was organised by ACRT322 on the 13 th of
January’19 at Dendua More, Salanpur, Asansol. More than 500 patients
got their eyes checked for free. The patients with eye sight problem
were even given free glasses. Also those suffering from cataract were
given appointment for the free cataract surgery that shall be sponsored
by ACRT322.

KKRT293 did their 4 th Fundraiser of the tabling year by organising a 1-
Day Workshop by Mr Rahul Jain of Business Coaching India –
‘DOUBLE YOU PROFITS BY WORKING JUST ONE DAY IN A
WEEK’. The result-oriented workshop was of immense success and
was attended by around 140 Entrepreneurs of Kolkata.

Apart from these tabling events, the Area too organised the following

• Fellowship In Tabling Coin’ (FIT Coin) – 5 th Successful month and
it’s getting popular day by day. Tablers are eager and excited to be the
FIT Coin holder. The concept of Coin holders meeting each other
over fellowship has been loved and appreciated by all the tablers who
had the privilege of holding the coins last month and meeting tablers.
