Achieving Your Goals: Techniques and Technology

It’s September, which means that you, along with everyone else in the Nord Anglia family, is thinking about performance reviews and setting goals for the coming year. Will they be the same as last year, or will you challenge yourself to grow and avoid performance stagnation? One way to understand the link between performance and PD is to consider the “Performance Zone” and the “Learning Zone”. The former rarely improves without careful attention to the latter. So that’s why, as you’re thinking about your performance goals, we also want to share some techniques and technology that can help you keep an eye on your learning in order to improve your performance.

PD Tracker is a professional development and learning tracker designed specifically for teachers.

The Professional Development Tracker App is a fast, simple and timely way for teachers to track their professional development and learning. It allows you to record and reflect on all your professional learning. The ability to take notes and add photos as you go is a really useful feature. The app also allows you to download a record of PD should you need to evidence it.

This app is designed to help Australian teachers map their professional learning to national teaching standards. Although this aspect is not entirely relevant to NAE educators, the app as a whole is really useful.
