Costley and Costley has made
The Bill Costley Award for Art and Design
2017 was won by Caroline Borland who has
successfully completed her HND Art and
Design qualification at Ayrshire College.
This is the first year of the award, and is part
of the Costley & Costley sponsorship to
support talented creative students by providing
scholarships, exciting learning opportunities
and inspiring work experiences. It is designed
to help our students move into employment
and make an impact on Ayrshire’s economy.

Julie Thorne, Head of Creative Arts and
Fashion said,
“Every year our HND Art & Design group has
students who have been with us for between
two and four years, and it gives us great
pleasure to see them develop as skilled artists
ready to move on to art school or to set up
their own practices. Whilst our End of Year
Show consistently displays work of a high
standard, there are usually one or two artists
