Inauguration of technical wing at SSvM school in collaboration with LC53, equipment worth 5lacs. PRRT105 did bhoomipoojan of an FTE project in Pune and also managed to raise 7.5lacs at the event with contributions from people across all walks of life. Twinklers were also encouraged to plant saplings as a go green initiative. PURT144 conducted 2 LAPDs namely Good Touch/Bad touch for girls and a Science & Technology workshop for school kids. STCRT 150 donated hearing aids to a Deaf and Dumb school in Solapur. Additionally a donation of grains worth ₹12000 to underprivileged school kids. A twinklers event on gratitude and mannerisms was also conducted. r A Area XV collectively anaged to raise ₹178600 for our fellow Indians struck by the Kerala floods. PCRT110 donated chairs to a school in Pune on the occasion of Independence day. 5 1 a e Aurangabad tables 286 & 287 organised a monsoon trek with over 50 heads participating. SHRT309 conducted an out of box business meeting in a swimming pool. An LAPD for kids called Gratitude Wednesday was conducted. They also donated stationary and food packets to over 450 kids jointly with rt150 & rt187 at Round Table school, Solapur. An area competition for twinklers on National Anthem rendition on Independence day saw tremendous response with over 50 kids from as young as 3 to teenagers who performed with confidence and even some on musical instruments. Fellowships, socials and business meetings across the area made sure it was a lively and action packed month for all. Every table of the area came up with an event which were highly appreciated by all ensuring high participation. PSRT177 raised funds thru ‘book a smile’ campaign and an LAPD on the perils of drugs at a drug de-addiction centre in Pune PURT289 organised an LAPD for kids on the importance of keeping eyes healthy.
