Our Confucius Classroom, at Central Carolina
Community College (CCCC), was happy to welcome
Huang Ling to teach at their Classroom from
October 2011- July 2013. Huang Ling was a visiting
professor from Nanjing Normal University and
greatly increased student participation, awareness
of the Classroom in the community and connection
between NC State CI and the Classroom. Through
Professor Ling’s efforts, CCCC now offers elementary
Chinese online-the first totally online delivery
of a Chinese language course in the entire NC
