Keep the conversation growing . Last year , this group invited the field to a national discussion about the possibilities , barriers , and need for a national research project . We seek to have current scholars and practitioners working together to cultivate more available documentation of the unwritten , hidden , and erased BIPOC histories in the field of TYA . We meet again under the following goal : to illuminate the stories that have been pushed to the margins in order to maintain the status quo when artists and scholars exist outside of the dominant narrative . We ' ve previously proposed working in tandem to find , document , and share some of the BIPOC TYA artists , drama facilitators / practitioners , and audiences . Now , we come back together to discuss and plan actionable steps and projects to root these ideas into action and propagate change , both in the information available to cite and the ability to incite shifts in practice and documentation that honor Black and Brown TYA populations . This panel will share our present or upcoming projects , facilitate action planning amongst participants , and invite others to share their previous and present work and knowledge on this topic and from their communities .

We will examine creativity from various points of view such as physical , mental , and emotional perspectives through contrasting forms of play .
