To date we’ve had more than £9m
worth of enquiries since the
campaign began last year, with £2m
converted to confirmed events. On
social media we have had more than
60m impressions using the hashtag
#ideasbecomelegend with no
paid-for promotion.
Figures and stats aside, Legends
has become more than a digital
campaign. It’s messaging is
integrated into everything we do from
sales missions, trade shows, PR,
stakeholder and partner
engagement and the global
profiling of Scotland.
What’s next for Legends?
As we enter the second year of
the campaign, we will focus on
five more sectors – Surgery and
Medicine; Digital; Space; Health
and Food and Drink.
Legends has already generated
some incredible results. It has
changed the Scottish narrative,
engaged with the association
world on a new level and created
lasting relationships and legacy.
Business events are critical for
economic and social progress and
business events create ideas that
change the world. In Scotland,
those ideas become Legend.
