Christmas
curry? This can even be made
the day after Christmas using
shreds of any leftover meat as
well as the bones to make a rich
stock. I like to give mine a spicy
twist to offer a different palate.
Just as important as the food,
Christmas isn’t the same without
a tipple in accompaniment.
Depending on your serving style,
your meal can be paired with
either white or red wine. If you’re
keeping things simple, go for a
dry white. Don’t be afraid to opt
for a more robust red if you’re
serving your turkey with gravy.
For beer lovers, why not try
festive ale? I like to use
full-bodied ale with rich, spicy
notes that complement the
meat, fi sh or vegetarian main,
while cutting through and
cleansing the palate.
When it comes to the festive
feast, there really are no rules,
just guidelines, so don’t be afraid
to mix things up and try
something new.
