YHangry was co-founded in 2019 by Heinin Zhang and Siddhi Mittal . The private chef platform allows individuals to throw dinner parties from the comfort of their own home . At the tasting session , YHangry ’ s head chef served up three canapés , which was paired with a complimentary wine .
How did YHangry start ? “ It was started because we were tired of always going out to catch up with friends . We really missed throwing dinner parties , but we didn ’ t want to go to the effort of planning , shopping and cooking ourselves . So we thought , there ’ s so many amazing chefs out there , why can ’ t we find and hire one for our dinner party ?” commented Zhang . people are vegans because of that belief they have .
But now , a lot of chefs are trying to replicate meat alternatives instead of really focusing on making the vegetables and fruits spectacular . My advice is , just keep it simple . I can almost see vegetarian disappearing and vegan coming in ,” YHangry ’ s head chef said .

What is your food ethos ? “ When it comes to the type of food , our style is delicious food – that ’ s number one . It ’ s also about being not super fussy , that ’ s what we are going for as a company when we curate our own menus ,” said Zhang .
