This strategy is also reflected in the menus at One Moorgate Place , created by in-house caterers , Searcys . For events , look no further than the Zero Waste menu , available to private dining spaces . Utilising root-to-stem cooking , options include whipped goats curd , coffee-roasted beetroot , vegetable peel crisps and sourdough , as well as foraged fruits , apple core cream with damson sorbet . Ever-changing depending on the seasonal produce , organisers can request this package when booking .
Championing local produce , the venue also offers a sustainable meeting package , designed with consideration to food miles , including ethical sourcing and charity support . Highlights of this offering include coffee sourced from an organic co-operative of smallholders in Peru , and family-run single estates in Guatemala and Colombia . For sweet treats , the venue also works with Islands Chocolate , who ethically source from St Vincent , planting over half a million trees to support local farmers . The package also includes a contribution to London hospitality charity Beyond Food for each delegate .
