The demand for face-to-face business events is back ; in a world that is learning to live with Covid , people have recognised the need to re-connect , learn and collaborate to get business done , but with understandable caution .
So , how can you build confidence , as well as make sure your event sparks creativity , connection and collaboration ?
The answer is simple : book your next face-to-face event in NewcastleGateshead because it ’ s Tyne to Get Back to Business .
In a UK destination first , 35 venues across Newcastle and Gateshead have joined forces to help build back event organisers ’ confidence in staging everything from international conferences to team building sessions .
Those taking part include large venues such as the Utilita Arena , Newcastle United FC , Sage Gateshead and Newcastle and Northumbria Universities ; major hotels such as Hilton , Crowne Plaza and Copthorne ; historic locations including Newcastle Cathedral and Newcastle Castle and boutique venues including The Common Room of the Great North , St Mary ’ s Heritage Centre and 13th century former friary , Blackfriars restaurant .
All 35 locations have gained coveted AIM Secure accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association ( mia ), which ensures a number of factors , including that each venue meets 24 high level health and safety protocols .
The only Government-recognised accreditation for business meetings and events , AIM Secure has been especially enhanced over the last two years to help venues adapt to deliver events as safely as possible in a world with Covid .
NewcastleGateshead is the first destination in the UK where venues have joined together to create a co-ordinated group of AIM Secure accredited hotels and meeting places so not only can you book with confidence , but you can also pass that reassurance on to all your delegates .
The Tyne To Get Back To Business campaign has been put together by NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau and is backed by the Meetings Industry Association .
