Since opening the first Convene location in New York City in 2009, San Francisco was consistently among existing clientele’ s top requested expansion markets. Heeding the call, Convene became part of the redevelopment of the iconic 100 Stockton Street building, formerly a seven-storey Macy’ s Men’ s department store, opening in November 2023.

Convene 100 Stockton is a 53,000-sq. ft venue that can hold events for up to 1,900 people. The venue comprises seven meeting rooms – ranging in capacity from 26 to 460 – that accommodate various event types, from intimate board meetings to large-scale conferences with a main stage and breakout rooms. Designed as an homage to the Bay Area Guests enter Convene 100 Stockton’ s dedicated lobby on the ground floor with exclusive elevators to its event spaces on floors four and five. The moment guests step off the elevator, they are warmly greeted at the stunning stone reception desk.
Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for ample natural light and views of the neighbouring historical buildings throughout both floors. Design elements feature detailed stonework, warm woods, and bold sunset colours. Playful nods to the Bay Area climate include a statement light that winds across the ceiling, adding to the character of the event venue.
Convene also integrates technology into each meeting space. Built-in video cameras, microphones, speakers, projectors, and high-resolution screens are provided in meeting rooms to allow clients to seamlessly extend the event to virtual participants.
Hospitality is a core value In the common areas, guests may choose between a wide selection of seating, including hi-tops, low-tops, lounge areas, and banquettes for several options to work, meet, or eat. The gallery spaces also host Convene’ s five-star food and beverage service complete with‘ Nourish’, the signature Convene snack and beverage bar.
The company’ s in-house Executive Chef team develops seasonal and regional menus featuring premium, locally sourced ingredients. Dishes cater to all dietary needs including delicious vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options.
