he View , located at The Royal College of Surgeons , opened its brand-new doors in July 2021 boasting beautiful views on to the historic Lincoln ’ s Inn Fields , and wider London . The space has two main rooms : The Conference Suite , which can hold up to 300 people in theatre style or 180 people on rounds for dinner ; and The Park View for your catering or evening reception . The Conference Suite is equipped with high-tech AV , including a large screen and projector , PA system and relay screens down the room .
The Park View Suite , with access to the terrace , is the perfect location to soak up the last rays of sunshine with a chilled glass of wine after a long conference . There are also two smaller rooms , The Linder Boardroom and Newman , which are perfect for a small breakout room or quieter space during the day .
The View , a five-minute walk from Holborn station , is the ideal location for a conference or 300 people standing reception . The space also prides itself on being sustainable and environmentally friendly .
From the walls , made with FSC-accredited certified timber material , to the roof , with 111 solar panels , The College ’ s refurbishment focuses on being high tech and environmentally sustainable , complemented by seasonal Searcys menus . Searcys is the official caterer at The View .
Their work with local and British suppliers , seasonal menus , and engagement with social enterprises has earned Searcys the top three-star rating by the Sustainable Restaurant Association in early 2020 .

Surround yourself with books and breathe in The College ’ s history in this gorgeous , unique space . The Lumley Library is the College ’ s functioning library and , by the close of the 19th century , it was widely recognised that the Royal College of Surgeons possessed one
of the finest medical science library collections in Europe .
