It aims to open over 25 locations in the UK over the next 36 months. Its spaces offer packages which include design and build, hospitality, events and wellbeing, sales and marketing and the Bold tech platform. Unique collaboration Unique Venues of London has announced a partnership with the Event Marketing Association (EMA) that will involve the collaboration of memberships and joint marketing opportunities. Unique Venues of London will support the EMA by sourcing venues for its monthly and seasonal events. This aims to showcase member venues and encourage future business between the memberships. Conference call for SSE Hydro and Vodafone Vodafone has announced its partnership with Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena to further its commitment to the region. The SSE Hydro Arena is Scotland’s largest entertainment venue which hosts 150 music, sporting and entertainment events every year and has a capacity for 14,300. Under the agreement, Vodafone will have access to a new on-site super-suite. This will be available to customers and guests during live events and will be used for branded experiences to showcase technologies such as 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT). 5G will also support the adoption of a range of new technologies such as IoT, robotics, connected cities and self-driving vehicles. The super-suite is set to open in spring 2020 and Vodafone customers will have the opportunity to win tickets to flagship events at the arena via Vodafone’s VeryMe loyalty app. Glasgow was one of the first cities where Vodafone launched its 5G network and a partnership with Glasgow University ensured it was the first educational institution in Scotland with the new technology. www.conference-news.co.uk Crest converts the try Event safety specialist Crest Planning has announced it will supply its safety app, Halo, to Harlequins Rugby Club. Halo will streamline security, medical facilities and maintenance to provide staff with control and a shared situational awareness from their own virtual command station. Halo aims to ensure staff can respond to security incidents in a timely fashion.
