Gold : Lambeth Town Hall
Lambeth Town Hall is a Grade II listed Edwardian building , which was opened in 1908 by King George V and Queen Mary . In 2016 , the Town Hall underwent a major refurbishment to create a more modern and energy-efficient workspace , as well to restore the building and showcase its history . As part of the refurbishment , the venue introduced modern facilities to welcome a varied audience and to support its position as a hub of activity and events .
Located in Brixton , the venue has a range of event spaces which can accommodate between 200-300 delegates and boasts historic and picturesque features , from the stained-glass windows and Sicilian marble of The Circular Hall to its grand chandelier in The Council Chamber .
Silver : The Garden Room at Middle Temple
The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple , widely known and referred to as ‘ Middle Temple ’, is a heritage venue that strives to display one of the finest examples of an Elizabethan Hall in the country .
Middle Temple is also home to one of the newest event spaces in London , The Garden Room . This new venue is available for exclusive hire at weekends and during the evening , at specific times of the year . The space has a built-in dancefloor and can host receptions for up to 240 guests , and dinners for up to 120 . The Garden Room has been designed with smaller meetings in mind too , with four sound-proof booths and a large board room . The Garden Room also boasts an outdoor terrace , which can seat up to 50 guests .
Bronze : Pan Pacific London
Pan Pacific London opened on 1 September this year and aims to take innovation and luxury to new heights . Located in the heart of the City of London , Pan Pacific London is the city ’ s new landmark tower and is only a two-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station .
With a blend of Asian hospitality and contemporary British features , the 237-bedroom hotel , of which 43 are suites , offers visitors a signature restaurant , two destination bars , a lounge , two private dining rooms and a dedicated wellbeing floor . The hotel also features 10 accessible event spaces , totalling 1,213sqm , across three floors . Each of its meeting rooms is fitted with audio visual technology as standard , supporting a range of meeting needs .
