The judges commended its “ compelling work ethos ” and its “ real attention to detail when it comes to people and audience .”
I asked Falconer more about how the agency works with clients . “ We are really dynamic in the way that we work because we are a small agency . We are very reactive to the client ’ s needs and behave like we are part of their team because they only deal with one or two people throughout the whole process ,” she

says . This is something that we are ftw prides itself on .
“ The objectives we set are based on meeting the client ’ s needs . They are not based on commercial value , which fosters a closer relationship within the team because we all want to make the event amazing ,” she adds .
For the agency , every event is an opportunity to win another contract . “ We are very passionate about the events that we run so we add that extra attention to detail . I think most small agencies do because that ’ s how they grow . They have to have 100 % perfection throughout the event process in order to retain clients ,” Falconer adds .
The judges also noticed this in the agency ’ s client testimonials which “ make evident that the team is great to work with and brings

creativity and imagination to the events they deliver ”. Another judge applauded the way we are ftw “ thinks outside the box ” when it comes to client briefs , and therefore creates a ‘ wow factor ’.
As a small agency , Falconer says it drives innovation . “ We are able to do things that bigger agencies might not be able to because we are willing to take the additional risks .”
This , of course , wouldn ’ t be possible without its team and the culture it has created . “ We are also dynamic in the way that we work – we are very adaptable to our employees needs .” Whether this is through flexible working or recruiting on skill , and not solely experience – “ the team says that they have never felt more supported ,” says Falconer .
