We appreciate that every event enquiry is different , and we take the time to understand the individual requirements of every single brief . And through our dedicated client engagement , we can understand how we can incorporate their own company culture into every meeting and event we deliver .
This dedication has been rewarded where we have successfully extended two contracts this year that would usually have gone out to tender . We have also successfully won four new contracts , which is a fantastic achievement considering the situation we found ourselves in . As we come through the other side of the pandemic , I ’ m delighted to see the business thriving , leading to a recruitment drive with positions across different company divisions .

Navigating clients towards their objectives The pandemic has had a massive impact on all businesses , and we have all had to adapt to new ways of working . I ’ m so proud of my team for how we have successfully re-engineered our services to continue supporting our clients ’ needs .
One thing I was particularly amazed by was how we converted our offices into temporary warehouses . You wouldn ’ t believe it , but we had such a huge uptake on our hamper offering that we had full-on production lines going on ( Covid-safely , of course ) to deliver thousands of Christmas , Easter and Wellness hampers to our clients . Honestly , who would have thought we ’ d be packing hampers – but needs must and it went down a storm .
Now , as we start to return to what we are all calling the ‘ new normal ’, we have made our very own playbook . It was created by our director of innovation , Will Dalzell , with the support of the team and our joint venture partners . The playbook gives our clients all the different options between virtual , hybrid and in-person events and how we can tailor each of these to ensure confidence is with our clients in booking with us to deliver the

To support the safe delivery of in-person events , we have a HSSE team fully trained to carry out risk assessments that adhere to existing Government guidelines and work closely with our hotel partners to meet the requirements .
In the past couple of months , we have eagerly been delivering in-person events again , and enquiries are increasing rapidly as confidence returns . Between April and May , our pipeline margin increased by 30 % – an incredible achievement in just one month – and 80 % of this margin is contracted . We typically see 55 % of our annual budgeted revenue covered by the pipeline in May , but this year the coverage was 88 %. I believe this is down to our continued engagement , providing suitable options to meet business objectives , and the confidence they will be delivered safely .
