27 Booking trends lot of people are excited about the future . Not because we can get back to doing what we enjoy most but because we can also do it in a new way : a way that is more considered , more flexible and more realistic .

In the eyes of the Government let ’ s make sure we get our acts together and let us work on our numbers .
The first thing we need to do is join forces for the greater good .
Let us all contribute to the same pot with the same goal and the same objective . That pot will become the go-to pot for our industry and our Government .
Of course , there is another benefit to contributing to the pot and that is when we gaze into , and analyse , the data within the pot , each contributing venue will be able to see how they are performing against the industry and their competitors : good old-fashioned benchmarking . During the pandemic we have all become better people ; more realistic and better connected . We care more , we share more and we are more open about how we feel . There is a lot of good that will come out of this horrible time . The handy by-product of helping your business perform better will surely be one of the key strengths of our industry in the future .
Each issue in this column , I will share with you the key findings of our shared data , analysing what ’ s happening in our industry . I will share with you the numbers , because they ’ re not my numbers , they ’ re your numbers . And you need to know .
After all , data always has a
