GIAF 2021 to be live for September
The organisers of the international knowledge sharing event , Geneva International Association Forum ( GIAF ), ASSOCIATIONWORLD and Congrex Switzerland have announced that GIAF 2021 is now planned as an in-person live event , 16-17 September , at the InterContinental Geneva .
The event will be the first post-lockdown international association live event . Depending on international travel restrictions and Covid-19 measures , organisers expect the majority of associations to join from association hubs across Switzerland , France and the Benelux .

Yokohama to host ICRA 2024
The Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau ( YCVB ) has announced the city has been chosen to host the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation ( IEEE ICRA 2024 ).
Organised by the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society , the event will be a hybrid conference with 25,000 participants : 5,000 in-person , and 20,000 online . This is the first time the event has been held in Japan since 2009 with the economic spill over expected to be approximately US $ 9.2m .
