Eventscase launches AI Assistant
E ventscase , event management software experts , have launched an artificial intelligence functionality , integrated to its platform .
According to the company , ‘ AI Assistant ’ learns and adapts to the needs of the event attendees , addressing questions through smart responses and suggestions . It also supports the different phases of the event and different activities . The automated system also suggests sessions that best suit an attendee ’ s interests and favours intelligent networking as it finds the most relevant profiles through matchmaking .
Iván García , CTO and co-founder of Eventscase , says : “ We wanted to release this first version as soon as possible because the results we have obtained have been so satisfactory . Moreover , the algorithm itself learns so fast that , in a few weeks , marked improvement will be even more palpable .” The AI Assistant will be available in the Eventscase event app and in their ‘ Digital Venue ’, combining the functionalities of these products .
AI revealed as a major player in IBTM report
AI-backed hyper-personalisation of events will be a hot topic for 2024 , according to the IBTM World Trends Report 2024 – released during IBTM World in Barcelona last November .
The company ’ s report predicts technology will target ‘ Generation Me ’ by using information shared by attendees to provide individually tailored offerings . The report also addressed the future of facial recognition for event entry , and the sharing of focused content using human-based algorithms .

Eight PR and Marketing and author of the report , said : “ The economic , political and ecological outlook of our planet is on a knife edge and the advent of AI can swing it in a number of ways . Our industry has a crucial say in these outcomes and this year ’ s report looks to understand what this role should be .”
The report additionally suggested that AI could elevate event festivalisation by allowing audiences to select their own content , and the use of Chatbots ( such as ChatGPT ) to generate content ideas .

Reggie Aggarwal , CEO and founder of Cvent , delivered an opening keynote offering an “ optimistic outlook ” on the future of the events industry during the company ’ s annual industry and customer conference , Cvent CONNECT Europe .
In his address , Aggarwal reflected on the strength of the meetings and events industry , coupled with the rapid digital transformation the industry continues to undergo . “ Technology adoption is accelerating at rates we haven ’ t seen before , enabling us to connect intentionally , purposefully and in a more measurable way ,” said Aggarwal .
Highlighting the importance of embracing technology to automate processes , integrate systems and collect data across the entire customer journey , Aggarwal discussed the power of digital tools to drive greater business outcomes . He also outlined the power of AI to supercharge these efforts .
Aggarwal concluded : “ The powerful intersection of people and technology is all around us , and it ’ s going to help all of us achieve our goals , especially with resource constraints and continued economic uncertainty .”
