Expo ’ s organiser , Informa Markets , signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU ) on 19 June 2023 with AsiaWorld Expo to host the event .
The exciting event will highlight the shipping , rail , road and aviation industries , underlining their recent developments and achievements . The co-operation between the organisers is expected to encourage collaboration , and empowering all participating organisations through teamwork and sharing industry wisdom .
“ Our expertise in hosting international events and the flexibility of our management team will ensure that the Super Terminal Expo is a resounding success ,” commented Simon Li , chairman of AsiaWorld-Expo .
“ This inaugural event will demonstrate the unprecedented synergies that can be achieved when a world-class airport and an award-winning venue combine their unique strengths .”

HK $ 1.4 billion Incentive Scheme for Recurrent Exhibitions to be held at AWE
Hong Kong ’ s Government has launched a new incentive scheme designed to reinforce and enhance the city ’ s legacy as a hub for trade events . The Incentive Scheme for Recurrent Exhibitions ( ISRE ) is designed to offer organisers brand-new incentives for their returning trade shows in the city . As a pioneering Scheme , it ’ s a true representation of the government ’ s billion-dollar investment into Hong Kong ’ s trade show industry .
Eligible recurrent international events will need to reach a quota of 50 %, or at least 500 , international delegates to qualify for the Scheme . Organisers will see an up to 100 % rental incentive with a cap of HK $ 20m ( USD $ 2.6m ) per event .
