ICCA and Simpleview collaborate on new database

ICCA CEO , Senthil Gopinath
ICCA , in collaboration with technology partner Simpleview , has announced the new ‘ digital transformation ’ of the ICCA database and website . According to the association , in 2021 the ICCA Board discussed how improving the AMD ( Association Meetings Database ) could facilitate other improvements . In 2022 , ICCA staff , members , and Simpleview implemented three projects : CMS / Website , CRM / Member Portal , and the ICCA database .
The Digital Transformation Database The ICCA database will soon be known as ICCA Business Intelligence . It will provide analysis and intelligence about international associations , more business opportunities , and using a new sustainable AMD . Other improvements have been made , especially to the database ’ s UI .
Website The organisation ’ s website is the public portal into ICCA , and now offers a cleaner experience with an emphasis on ICCA ’ s advocacy . Operational site changes mean the team can easily update and add relevant information about events , news , sponsorship , and promotional opportunities .
Next Steps In Autumn 2023 ICCA will announce another database , which consists of ( Inter ) governmental meetings , as ICCA believes that this information can provide more sustainable business opportunities for members . Cvent launches AI Writing Assistant
Cvent , an events and hospitality technology provider , has launched an AI Writing Assistant . The tool is incorporated directly within the Cvent platform and is designed to leverage the power of generative AI to streamline the content creation process .
The provider says that its AI
Writing Assistant leverages natural language processing technologies to help teams create content for event emails , websites , session descriptions , and more . An algorithm adapts to user guidelines to generate content that aligns with their brand tone and voice .
All Cvent users will have free access within its event marketing and management platform , including in solutions such as Attendee Hub , Registration , and Cvent Supplier Network .

Three event professionals announce fully AI-powered event
Three USA-based event and experiential marketing professionals from POP Experiential and Impact Events and Marketing have announced their upcoming ‘ autonomous ’ event , AUTONOMOUSXP . The event will be a three-day experience in which AI will make all the organisers ’ decisions . The event has been designed to showcase AI ’ s potential within the industry .
A few precepts have been put into place , but AI will carry out the rest of the decisions . The precepts include “ minimal financial , risk , sustainability , and not causing harm to anything or anyone .”
