How did you solve your most challenging project ? Our biggest challenge for all commissions is to never be an added burden , as the tools that we provide help to simplify and make the events planning process more efficient . We know that our partners want to be spending more time on being creative , rather than worrying about software solutions . The tools that we provide are easy-to-use , allow for greater collaboration , and seamlessly fit into the workflow so planners can keep doing what they love .
What do organisers get wrong when implementing event tech ? In the past , the events industry has been slow to adapt to new technology – despite customers becoming increasingly dependent on it . Running events has frequently been a high-pressure environment where we fix or cover setbacks last minute . There has also been resistance against using technology that allows people to attend events without physically being there .
But the world is changing rapidly . Event professionals will need to upskill in VR , AR , and AI so that they are able to offer the best opportunities for businesses to build outstanding , experiential events .
How do you encourage users who aren ’ t adept with tech ? Event technology does not need to be difficult to use . It has been created to simplify processes and make users ’ lives a lot easier . Technology can break down geographical barriers and has the power to connect with exponentially bigger audiences – knowing this is key for users to embrace the tools . Events are now available in new , creative , more immersive and engaging forms which continue to mould how content is delivered . Are there any exciting projects in Allseated ’ s pipeline ? 2023 is a very exciting year for Allseated . One area we ’ re continuing to develop is through our partnership with Matterport to bring cutting-edge 3D technology to our users , which will allow us to turn any space into an accurate and immersive digital twin . The result is not a diagram or a model - it ’ s an accurate full-colour , high-resolution copy of the actual space . Our partnership is driving at least 30 % increase in sales for our invested clients and 60 % greater operational efficiency for venues .
We ’ re also excited to announce the launch of a new product . This will be the next generation of Allseated Vision virtual tour technology for venues , which will offer Sales and Marketing enablement – so stay tuned !
